DINING ROOM MANAGER

PALM BEACH, FL


JOB SUMMARY:

The Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing crew, applicable club cost control and management, and fostering positive member and vendor relationships. The Floor Manager has a vast understanding and curiosity of high-end service. They are discreet and solution oriented to accommodate member-centered experiences. They have a passion for people and lead with education and training to develop knowledgeable crew members. A floor manager must be a great communicator to the members, must be able to resolve any issues in a timely manner and very tactfully. The floor manager is charismatic, upbeat and positive.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure smooth running of all Food and Beverage
  • Serve as the direct point of contact between members and the food and beverage operation.
  • Respond to all member compliments and complaints
  • Control the flow of service & touch every table
  • In charge of upholding service standards
  • To be instrumental in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews of new staff
  • Implement and enforce policies and protocols. Conduct counseling when appropriate.
  • Liaison for POS programming and training
  • Monitor atmosphere (lights, music, temperature)
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the Club
  • Conduct routine Maintenance and Upkeep as it relates to food and beverage
  • Oversee Inventory control on beverage, CGS and supplies
  • Foster maximum revenue being achieved from sales opportunities
  • Attend applicable meetings

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Complete all tasks by assigned day otherwise expected to come in on days off or complete remotely, depending on the task at hand
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a face paced team environment
  • Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules
  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent guest and employee relations skills
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in job-related English
