Job Title: Design Sales Representative - $3,000 Sign-on Bonus
+ Earn $100,000+ per year in commission & base salary + Benefits
Bumble Bee Blinds is the fastest growing Window covering business (blinds, shades, draperies, shutters & outdoor shades) in the country. “Buckhead” is our newest location servicing 28 zip codes that include Buckhead, Chamblee, Brookhaven, Midtown, Downtown and others (a big territory booming with opportunity).

As a Sales Consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds of Buckhead, you will be responsible for selling window-covering products to residential and commercial clients in central Atlanta. You will help build a clientele, drive sales revenue, and support the company with high quality, professional offerings. A successful Sales Consultant will operate with top-tier customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sales-driven mindset to present innovative solutions to prospective customers. 

In this role, you’ll spend your days making the homes and workspaces of our clients more beautiful, functional, and comfortable by servicing the qualified leads that our award-winning marketing team generates.  If you enjoy sales and the ability to go set goals and overachieve them, then you will be a perfect fit  You will have full support staff around you including a General Manager/Owner, a full installation team, call-center to support all the calls, a marketing group dedicated to filling up your schedule with leads, digital lead generation team, customer service for product questions and plenty more  Our product offerings are kept fresh and current to ensure you can expertly meet your client’s preferences and unique buying needs. What you will receive -
We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new Design Sales Representatives. Terms are: $1,500 will be paid out after 90 days and an additional $1,500 will be paid after 180 days of service and in good-standing and active employment with Bumble Bee Blinds.

  • Base of $35,000 to $45,000 (based on experience) + Commission
    • Commissions at 3% to 5% of sales for uncapped total compensation of $60k to $120k

  • New company vehicle available to designer for work purposes with Peach Pass and gas included
  • Great work/life balance. The consultant will be working normal business hours on a full-time basis from the office (Upper Westside) when not on sales appointments (at clients’ homes or offices).
  • An opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new franchise with first class products from Graber, Alta (a Hunter Douglas company) and other suppliers, the network of a nationwide brand in Bumble Bee Blinds, and the support of HorsePower Brands, an industry leader in the Home Services industry.

What you will do (your core responsibilities) -
  • Expertly match our diverse products and services to client’s needs
  • Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings
  • Drive leads. Answer new and existing customers' phone calls while following sales processes
  • Successfully close appointments by demonstrating our unique Value Proposition, and by building trust and credibility
  • Properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction, and to avoid order errors that adversely affect the company’s bottom line and positive reputation
  • Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide high-level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner for both internal and external clients
  • Be flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, time off requests, attending team meetings and training
  • Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market
  • Be responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details in the CRM

  • High school degree or equivalent is required. Some college work is preferred
  • Availability to work full-time five days per week
  • Proficiency with using a PC and with Microsoft Windows based programs
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow new technology processes and systems
  • Can drive within canvassing areas and accommodate drive times to meet the needs of clients in the assigned territory
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Experience with POS Systems preferred
  • Ideal Start: Flexible up to late September
