Job Summary:
The Parts Counter at Priority Lexus Virginia Beach is a full-time sales position in the automotive industry. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and selling automotive parts based on their needs. This role will primarily be based out of our Virginia Beach location.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a commission-based role with a competitive base salary. In addition to your base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn additional commission based on your sales performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Listen to customers' needs and recommend the appropriate parts based on their vehicle and repair/service requirements.
- Utilize our inventory management system to accurately locate and retrieve parts.
- Complete sales transactions and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and timely repairs for our clients.
- Continuously stay updated on new products and services in the industry.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
