Summary:

The Clinical Specialist covers cases and provides training to the surgical team on safe and effective uses of the device. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical case coverage as assigned
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives
  • Trains the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally supports cases during training period
  • Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational and clinical resource.
  • Demonstrate appropriate interactions with all healthcare providers.
  • Maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery and quality control audits.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience in minimally invasive spine procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, CT and MRI is required.
  • Customer relationship and procedural skill development experience
  • High School Diploma or GED or Associate’s Degree with a minimum 4 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company; or
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company.
  • Location: Ideal candidate will reside within 40 miles of Sacramento.
  • Travel - 20%. 1-2 nights per week in a hotel, on average. (Area covered is Reno, Chico, Modesto, Sacramento, Stockton.)

  • Base $90k+ $20k Variable Bonus at plan (Paid out quarterly) - Total $110k OTE
  • Travel expenses covered
