We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing and executing the company’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities of budgeting, forecasting and analysis in addition to implementing new cost accounting variance analysis and metric reporting processes, procedures and systems. This role will also provide additional support to Finance team as needed. This is a full-time exempt position.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the annual budgeting, forecasting and reporting efforts including creation and maintenance of models, variance analysis and all the other classic FP&A functions. Develops analysis of budgets, forecasts and historical trends; also includes 13-week rolling cash forecasts and supporting month-end close activities as needed.
- Supports the development and monitoring of strategic long-range planning (1-3 years) through extensive competitive analysis of the market and the company's performance.
- Develops strategic and analytical financial frameworks and conducts analysis on new initiatives across the company (e.g., operational efficiency, business development, financial, etc.)
- Develops and systematizes standard business metrics for analyzing business performance and efficiencies, spanning Finance, Product, customer and industry analytics, manufacturing, purchasing, distribution sales and marketing.
- Supports month-end close activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or business related major, or equivalent education and work experience, required. MBA preferred.
- Five to eight years progressive experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting.
- Experience in manufacturing environment/industry strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Expert knowledge in Excel (VLOOKUP’s, formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Ability to utilize PowerPoint for development of board-level presentations required.
- Experience working with accounting and reporting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics-NAV, and MS Office.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision Software a plus.
- Hands on cost accounting expertise required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication,

- Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and trend large amounts of data.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
