The Controller plans and directs all accounting operational functions, analyzes accounting and internal control systems, and guides departmental staff. Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

Monthly Progress Billings

Project Compliance, Miscellaneous Compliance at the company level


Responsibilities:

Work closely with CFO and at times project controls to develop and maintain system of internal accounting controls, project financial controls and enhancements

Supervise team of 3 in accounting

Monthly 1:1's w/ Direct Reports

Payroll Tax Filings/Returns

W-2's, 1099s

Sales/Use Tax Returns

Support CFO during annual audit

Lead departmental initiatives/special assignments

  • Work with senior management and operations leadership to ensure financial directives are followed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Qualified candidates for the Controller role will have 10+ years working in construction accounting, supervisory experience, MBA or CPA preferred.
