Job Purpose

The Channel Marketing Specialist at CHIME is responsible for diversifying our marketing channels and maximizing our presence in the digital health ecosystem. This role will focus on entering new spaces, achieving higher Google rankings, owning advertising initiatives, driving higher SEO, and programmatic advertising. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders and the marketing team to develop and implement channel-specific marketing initiatives that align with CHIME's strategic goals.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and the marketing team to develop and implement channel-specific marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Analyze data to track channel performance, identify areas of improvement, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and market trends to inform marketing strategies and ensure CHIME's competitive edge.
  • Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, including negotiating and managing incentive programs to maximize the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and channels for growth within the digital health ecosystem.
  • Create, execute, and track successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with CHIME's brand and objectives.
  • Oversee website content, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for search engine ranking and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and agencies to support content creation and distribution.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance and ROI, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding marketing activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of all media/ad campaigns, collaborating with the Brand and Digital Marketing Teams.
  • Serve as the key point of contact with agencies for the facilitation of online content creation, ensuring consistency and quality across channels.
  • Monitor and utilize data and analytics to optimize content creation strategies for improved performance metrics; use data and analytics tools to support the evaluation of campaign objectives achievement.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field is required.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility; proven success.
  • 2+ years professional experience with digital media, digital marketing, social media communications and email marketing platforms is required.
  • 2+ years experience contributing to or managing social media accounts is required; coordination of paid social advertising techniques is preferred
  • 1+ year experience maintaining a Contentful website or assisting in content edits and review is required; familiarity with Google Analytics is preferred
  • Experience working in a marketing agency or consultative work environment is preferred.
  • Experience working with a team project management tool (i.e. Asana, Trello, Jira) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in channel marketing, SEO, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new marketing opportunities.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

This is a remote based position. Some travel will be required.
