As an Adult Mental Health Case Manager at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will be at the forefront of providing crucial support to adults living with Serious Mental Illness. WHAT MATTERS MOST

To excel as an Adult Mental Health Case Manager at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a human service field of study, such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling. Additionally, a minimum of one (1) year of experience in case management services is required to effectively support individuals with Serious Mental Illness. A valid Driver's License is essential for this role, as it may involve transporting clients. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is key to efficiently create and maintain individualized care plans.

Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also vital for success in this position.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field of study such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling.
  • One (1) year of experience providing case management services.
  • Valid Driver's License.
