MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A CASE MANAGER - CHILD AND ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH

As the Child and Adolescent Case Manager at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a pivotal role in providing unwavering support to families and young individuals coping with mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, facilitating vital linkages to services, and monitoring progress to ensure comprehensive care. By engaging in inter-agency planning and collaboration, you will help families access a range of essential supports, from social and educational resources to crisis intervention. WHAT MATTERS MOST

To excel as a Child and Adolescent Case Manager at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in human services (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling) and have at least one year of experience in case management services for children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Successful applicants will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both clients and service providers. Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating services is crucial for effectively supporting the diverse needs of young individuals and their families.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
