Radiology Technologist II

Sollis Health is hiring per diem Radiology Technologists who have both CT and X-ray certifications (MRI certification is a STRONG plus) to conduct scans as needed on Sollis patients. This is a piece-rate pay model.
How it works:
- A Sollis patient needs a scan.
- You will receive a text message asking if you are available to come into our facility to scan a patient.
- If you are available, you arrive to conduct the scan(s).
- You are paid based on how many scans you conduct.
Compensation:
- Overnight (defined as scans beginning within 11:00pm – 7:00am): $750 per scan
- Daytime (defined as scans beginning within 7:00am – 11:00pm): $350 per scan
Example: You conduct two scans in two hours at Sollis during the daytime, you will receive $700 as payment.
In addition to the piece rate pay, you are able to pick up shifts as a per diem employee if interested/available
In the role of a Radiology Technologist II at Sollis Health, you will be responsible for the operation of our CT and X-ray equipment, performing diagnostics and ensuring that proper information has been obtained. You will also be trained and certified on how to run lab testing in a CLIA laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identify the patient prior to conducting scans
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging - Cat Scan, X-Ray and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures
- Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images
- Ensuring images are legibly labeled with the correct date and patient identification
- Monitoring the patient's well-being and recognizing patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action
- Running laboratory tests on our moderate to complex machines under a CLIA license, and helps to perform routine QC's and other lab requirements
- Utilizing our EMR Athena Health to enter detailed information about the patients ensuring all information is HIPPA compliant
- Updating patient information in our CRM Salesforce
- Must be able to lift up to, 75 lbs as the second assist for Coterie patients if they are unable to assist themselves if they have fallen.
- Performs clerical duties as requested
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required
- Current License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer) in California
- Registered by ARRT in Radiography and CT required
- Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in both modalities: X-Ray and CT
- Siemens experience is a strong plus

Range: $65-$73 per hour if you work a full shift. If you are picking up a piece rate scan your rate is noted above.
This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in San Francisco. Sollis Health is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
