Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate applications for best-practice implementations, including functionality and integration.
  • Develop software/application solutions to meet business and operations needs.
  • Collect application and/or reporting requirements for solution design.
  • Manage and troubleshoot performance issues and resolve server/OS-related application issues.
  • Document solutions using application development cycle methodologies, diagrams, and application models.
  • Perform application/software code reviews for improvements, enhancements, and optimization.
  • Review security controls in applications and infrastructure for IT security compliance.
  • Design, develop, and manage front-end and back-end application components including user interfaces and database integrations.
  • Analyze application datasets to formulate reports and reporting templates.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise on application projects.
  • Maintain server components in application stacks.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong development skills in .Net, C++, Python, Java, XML, JSON, and GO.
  • Knowledge of front-end design protocols including PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and GO.
  • Proficient in web development platforms such as Microsoft IIS, Visual Studio, Apache, NGINX, Node.JS, and Django.
  • Strong comprehension of SQL platforms including MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in designing and supporting reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Experience in designing and supporting ETL and ELT processing using SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Proficient in managing and configuring desktop and server operating systems:
    • Windows 10 and 11
    • Windows Server 2016 and above
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or similar distributions)
  • Administer system changes/modifications within operating systems.
  • Implement security at the Network, Application, Server, and Database levels.
  • Strong scripting skills for process automation or service optimization (VB Script, Powershell, BASH, Python, or similar).
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of server infrastructure virtualization is a plus.
  • Experience with app deployments in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe systems and COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM languages is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite of applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
