Title: Product Owner with P&C insurance domain exp

Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid role 3 days onsite per week)

JD:

  • Responsible for managing the product backlog. Product backlog items PBIs must be improved and further refined, priorities reassessed, and the backlog must be kept current and up to date.
  • Responsible for creating user stories to help team members understand the context for each product feature.
  • Responsible for assessing the development process at various stages to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Solely responsible for the prioritization of the business backlog items.
  • Facilitate daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints to track the progress of the product development.
  • Evaluation and acceptance of the deliverables on the level of individual stories, sprints, releases
  • Effective communication to collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Handle the customer impacting events through incident management cycle.
  • Generate and analyze operations reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain Team Metrics and continuously review OKRs and KPI
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and familiarity with API or AI or QA
  • Hands on Experience with Atlassian Jira.
  • Team spirit and good communication abilities.
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development, deployment, testing Functional and Application.
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
