Role Responsibilities
- Engage with team members to streamline the transfer of business to partner insurance carriers.
- Generate reports based on specific criteria.
- Evaluate existing portfolios for consolidation purposes.
- Maintain regular communication with partner insurance carriers.
- Independently oversee assigned projects in collaboration with partner carriers.
- Disseminate carrier quotes to service representatives.
- Conduct follow-ups and maintain communication with service representatives regarding binding status.
- Negotiate coverage and premiums on quotes with carriers.
- Finalize business transactions, including payment processing.
- Monitor and report on the outcomes of business transfers.
- Achieve and manage monthly production targets.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a New Jersey Property & Casualty, Commercial Lines license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in New Jersey.
- Extensive knowledge in commercial lines servicing, including remarketing and new business acquisition.
- Proficient in Excel, with strong skills in creating, formatting, and analyzing formulas, as well as working within spreadsheets. Familiarity with Word and other Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to foster effective relationships with colleagues and trading partners.
- Team-oriented mindset with the capability to work independently and engage actively with team members.
- Self-driven and motivated individual.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving capabilities with minimal guidance.
