About the Role

After a record-breaking 2023, we’re actively seeking to add to our Business Development team to build upon our success and reach new heights with fresh perspectives. Business Development Officers are responsible for expanding the company’s existing strategic partnerships and forming new ones.

The ideal candidate has a proven history of exceeding sales goals, strategic planning, and resiliency to the ever-changing market.

They also possess an impressive network, containing strong business relationships with clients in commercial finance, factoring, ABL, and private equity markets.

Duties and Responsibilities include: 

  • Cultivate long term relationships with a vast network of strategic partnerships across the country including ABL’s, private equity sponsors, investment banks, attorneys, business bankers/consultants, etc. 
  • Manage pipeline of current and prospective partnerships to grow business
  • Motivate and incentivize current partners to remain engaged and send business
  • Represent organization in various functions like conferences and tradeshows

Qualifications: 

  • 10 + years of experience in business development managing strategic partnerships
  • Proven success in relationship building and leading strategic initiatives
  • Possession of an impressive network, containing strong business relationships with clients in commercial finance, factoring, ABL, and private equity markets
  • Strong ability to influence and engage partners across a variety of industries
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, negotiating agreements, communication and creative skills
  • Thorough understanding of the business and how to sell it to prospective partners
  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset, with strong attention to detail and steadfast commitment to excellence
