  • Create, edit, and manage software deployment plans.
  • Manage, maintain, and administer the software source code repository.
  • Manage, maintain, and administer the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) server (GitLab) in support of automation workflows.
  • Manage, maintain, and administer Agile Project and Collaboration Software (Jira and Confluence).
  • Manage, maintain, and administer automated testing frameworks that allow in-depth testing of the User Interfaces, modules, and security of custom software applications across multiple programming languages and platforms.
  • Create Custom Plug-ins as necessary to augment servers in the CI/CD, Agile Project Management and Collaboration, and testing frameworks to meet the business needs of the NLM.
  • Research and implement continuous improvement and upgrading of the CI/CD Code Pipeline, adopting newer and more efficient technologies and practices as these become available.
  • Create or assist in the creation of CI/CD architecture on the AWS Cloud Infrastructure in support of OCCS and the NLM business needs.

Experience in analyzing and creating workflow processes.
Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, systems architecture, and software testing.
Demonstrated ability to provide systems documentation.
Demonstrated experience in training users on software workflow and automation.
Demonstrated experience in applying agile methodology to daily work.
Demonstrated experience in research and investigating new technology and implementations.
Demonstrated experience in Oral and Written communication.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience as a server operator on both the Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
Demonstrated experience instantiating, working with, and/or administering automated build systems (GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity), Testing Framework grids (Selenium), Java Servers (Tomcat),Networking and Network Load Balancers (F5 BigIp), Collaboration and Ticketing Systems (Atlassian Confluence & Jira), Source code repositories (Git & Subversion).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Common Network protocols (TCP, DNS,FTP, TLS, HTTP/HTTPS), Identity and Access Management, SQL, JSON, Python, and Java.
Demonstrated Training and Experience in AWS Cloud Operations at the level of an AWS Certified Professional
Demonstrated experience in working with OCCS, or organizations similar in scope, size,and structure, and internal customers to identify and automate internal functions.
Computer Science or related degree
