Swingtech is currently supporting military families within & outside United States through our application modernization efforts. Our team is responsible for providing software configuration and customizations including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third-party software integrations.

This role will work closely with our Technology Architect and Lead Business Analyst to develop and enhance ServiceNow capabilities.

Clearance Level:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have eligibility for Secret security clearance.

Remote.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Professional to immediately fill a critical vacancy on the agency’s multiple configuration items that need to be accounted for and brought under management control using our ServiceNow ITSM Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB). The agency’s CMDB is a critical foundation component of numerous other ServiceNow workflow applications including the Strategic Portfolio Management application, global service desk, Change Control application, the new IT Operations Management (ITOM) application, and a future DEVSECOPS compliance component.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that regulatory compliance is a key consideration in any changes planned and released to the live environment.
  • Creating and maintaining relevant accurate documentation.
  • Engaging necessary stakeholders prior to approving change requests to progress into the live environment, so that all relevant risks are assessed at the appropriate level, where applicable.
  • Engaging necessary stakeholders to ensure processes are understood and are working as effectively as they can be for the implementation teams.
  • Ensuring traceability of changes against each and every configuration item is achieved.
  • Processing change requests in a timely manner according to the change policy whilst ensuring they are recorded and stored accurately.
  • Highlighting changes which do not conform to standards.
  • Contributing to the production of the Forward Schedule of Change for review.
  • Helping to resolve queries to ensure that all appropriate changes take place.
  • Acting as first point of contact for business and regulatory change queries.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3+ years ServiceNow platform (required) experience required: ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB working experience.
  • 5+ years working in an IT Service environment supporting proprietary applications.
  • Work experience with databases, SQL, and ETL\warehousing tools and technology.
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • ServiceNow Certification – CSA, CAD, CIS – Discovery, or similar.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Modules for ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and CI Validation.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Scripting (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, Data warehousing, integrations, validation, and reporting.
  • Experience in working a large-scale development work on ServiceNow.
  • ITIL V4 Certification.
  • Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume environment.
