Clinical Sales Representative Role:

  • Oversee, maintain, and grow a territory of accounts. Primary contacts are Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, OR Nurses, and EEG Technicians.
  • Evaluate performance of any distributor representatives.
  • Identify, qualify and establish new representation when necessary.
  • Establish quotas and regularly analyze sales performance/growth opportunities.
  • Determine key performance indicators and create a monthly /quarterly status report to be completed and analyzed.
  • Establish, manage, and support any distributor representatives and accounts in your territory.
  • Visit the distributor’s territories yearly to manager and evaluate their team, retrain, and establish Ad-Tech requirements.
  • Travel is approximately 50%
  • Attend surgeries as needed to “support” the O.R. team during cases.
  • Provide in-depth Ad-Tech training to all distributors or applicable hospital staff in your territory to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the products offered, troubleshooting techniques, and clinical applications.
  • Organize literature and support materials for distributors/prospects, analyzing sales numbers, generating sales reports, etc.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders within your territory.
  • Increase sales yearly by obtaining new accounts, increasing prices, and cross-selling other product lines.
  • Attend industry trade shows domestically.
  • Market Research- manage post marketing surveillance on a monthly basis while collecting and analyzing sales forecasting to assist with strategic planning initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and competitive products in the market.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the product/sales cycle and be a resource to distributors and Ad-Tech direct customers.
  • Computer work- input sales orders, maintain customer files, send quotes to customers, etc.
  • Assist as needed in day-to-day business with all accounts as necessary for house, relevant OEM, and domestic customers.
  • Process complaints and product returns as needed.
  • Complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Ensure communication to customers is clear and correct while possessing good organization skills and a professional attitude. Able to effectively communicate in both one to one and group settings.

  • Successful sales track record in medical device industry
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary
  • Good organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sales experience required

 Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales or clinical experience with preferred experience in dealing with neurosurgery and/or neurology markets
  • Medical device sales experience

Exempt

Domestic Travel required: 50 – 70%
