Requirements:

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for sales of veterinary equipment and service contracts within a defined territory. This role is a combination of new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory in the veterinary market. This position will serve the mountain region, United States (ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, NM, ND, SD, NE, KS).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NONE

Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration, and complete territory coverage.

  • Prospecting for new business and maintaining an adequate pipeline of opportunities.
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment capabilities for assigned products in assigned territory.
  • Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts while communicating current market intelligence.
  • Sales negotiation and deal closure, interfacing with all key buyer influencers such as direct users of the product.
  • Expected to sell point-of-sale service contracts, financing, and drive margin through selling value and holding price.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of Esaote product knowledge and competitive products.
  • Develop profitable relationships with appropriate contacts at relevant accounts. Provide excellent customer service to represent and enhance the Esaote brand.
  • Provide input to marketing on issues including business trends, market analysis, & competitive activities.

POSITION REQUISITES

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of sales and sales experience in medical imaging industry; experience with veterinarians required.
  • Technically literate with a track record of exposure and current knowledge of medical imaging markets.
  • Results oriented with a high degree of accountability. True team player with the ability to drive progress and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills along with a strong executive presence.
  • Must be assertive, effective in the art of persuasion and negotiations, with strong consultative selling skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, travel up to 50% of the time.
