The Role
The Senior Sales Representative is critical to UTG delivering our ambitious growth goals because it is responsible for finding and closing new business sales. This role requires a good mix between proactively searching for new business and delivering results by closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Proactively developing relationships with potential customers through networking and going after a target list of potential strategic customers.
- Highlighting the benefits of partnering with UTG.
- Listening to customer needs, and working with a design engineer to develop a solution.
- Working with the customer to close the sale and addressing any barriers the customer may have.
- Meeting and exceeding sales growth initiatives/goals.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of customer pain points and UTG’s products and services being offered, ensuring that we consistently meet client needs and deliver value in the manner in which they perceive it.
Criteria
Must-Haves
- 3-5 years of successful hunting and closing sales experience (B2B sales experience preferred)
- A track record of superior results, exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling high-dollar value solutions to senior executives
- Able to work in a dynamic, collaborative, evolving environment while acting as an individual contributor
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in the technology industry
- Strong understanding of Modern Workplace technologies (MS Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, etc.)
- Experience with large and small businesses
