Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Prepares cash receipts on a daily basis when received from the Lockbox Department

  • Export lockbox detail from Microsoft Dynamics via Smartlist for entry into Sales module

  • Records cash in Microsoft Dynamics Accounts Receivable computer system through the review and posting of cash from Dynamics Smartlist and copies of checks printed from JP Morgan Chase

  • Prepares necessary reports in order to complete ACH (Automated Clearing House) debits via JP Morgan each billing period (weekly and monthly billing)

  • Reviews daily cash receipts and contacts groups if the amount paid differs from the amount due

  • Prepares checks for deposit if Accounting clerk is absent

  • Posts wires to Dynamics Sales module

  • Contacts the bank when problems arise with the Lockbox and escalate recurring lockbox issues to manager for further action

  • Answers accounting telephone calls and emails relating to client balances

  • Other duties as assigned
