Are you passionate about transforming spaces into captivating settings? The Westerner, located in vibrant West Valley City, UT is seeking a creative and detail-oriented part-time Event Decorator to join our team.

THE BASICS

Pay: With competitive pay of $30 - $40 per hour, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to bring your design visions to life in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Schedule: As a part-time Event Decorator, you will enjoy a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. You will set up décor on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays before 6 pm and handle décor removal on Mondays or Tuesdays between 9 am and 2 pm. With approximately 6-10 hours per week, this position allows you to balance your creativity with your personal commitments.

YOUR DAY AS AN EVENT DECORATOR

In this part-time role, you will start your day by collaborating with our event planning team to understand the décor requirements and design plans. You will select and purchase various materials, including balloons, fabric, or paper products, to bring you're the event vision to life. After the event, you will efficiently break down the decorations, maintaining our commitment to quality and safety, and store them for later use. Throughout your day, you will work closely with the event planner and management staff to ensure seamless coordination of all elements.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EVENT DECORATOR

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
