Operations Analyst Intern Summary
Monday-Friday | 1st shift
Reporting directly to the Transportation Manager, the Operations Analyst Intern is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Transportation team.
Operations Analyst Intern Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Operations Analyst Intern Duties
- Run dormancy report out of Samsara and communicate to the RJ Schinner branch the results.
- Use Innovo and excel to create monthly RJ Schinner trucking capacity report.
- Track late containers with carriers and communicate the results to Purchasing.
- Run PM reports and communicate to the branch responsible for upkeep of RJ Schinner equipment.
- Calculate KPI’s and update transportation summary monthly.
- Analyze K&N and Echo invoices for discrepancies.
- Run route analytics and work with the Transportation Coordinator to update routing guides accordingly.
- Prepare SOPs for department.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Working Environment
When on-site at corporate office:
- Work is performed in an office environment
- Noise level is moderate
For remote work:
- The Intern is expected to have a dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet connectivity (neither of which are reimbursable).
