We are seeking a talented Cloud Services Product Manager for immediate employment. Role and Responsibilities:

The Cloud Services Product Manager role is crucial to Salient’s most strategic and differentiated offering – Salient Cloud Services. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer. You will have the opportunity to develop and drive strategy with senior leaders across the company. Your work will directly shape Salient’s business model acceleration towards recurring subscription revenue.


The Cloud Services Product Manager opportunity will specifically require careful attention to operations and workflows – both internal and external to Salient. Additionally, given that Salient Cloud Services layer on top of an on-premises solution, this opportunity will require close coordination and creativity to discover and prioritize valuable use cases that augment the capabilities of the underlying on-premise components.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the discovery, prioritization, and detailed problem definitions that can be addressed by Salient Cloud Services.
  • Gather input from internal and external stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and detail specific operational requirements focused on user adoption, user retention, as well as Salient’s internal ability to maintain, manage, and scale various cloud services.
  • Create detailed user stories that outline specific requirements, functionalities, and user interactions for development teams.
  • Write clear and concise acceptance criteria for user stories to ensure the successful implementation of features and functionalities.
  • Uncover and prioritize insights on access and usage patterns and define reports and dashboards that can be used across product, engineering, and marketing efforts that build on customer insights.
  • Evangelize, educate, and enable people inside and outside the company on Salient Cloud Services.
  • Own and drive competitive awareness and market research on competitive cloud service offerings, including VSaaS solutions.



Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management of a B2B SaaS product offering
  • Experience with launching major new features and updates to a SaaS product offering
  • 4+ years of exposure to software product management and Agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
