Salary: $65,000 base plus site visit bonus

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and driven Outside Sales person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for everything related to building and expanding our customer base, including working with our inside sales team and educating clients/distributors nationwide on all the ways our products will benefit them. This role involves selling exclusively to distributor partner branch locations, with no end user sales. Our offerings to our customers include one of the most extensive bearing and power transmission inventories in the world with one of a kind bearing repair, modification and manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel within the continental USA to meet with distributor partners and promote our products and services.
- Understand the needs of our distributor partners and offer solutions that align with their requirements.
- Facilitating distributor partner training events such as technical classes, lunch meetings, and business-related presentations to enhance their ability to sell our products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners to ensure long-term business growth.
- Providing prompt responses with all orders including new and existing partners, making sure they are fulfilled promptly.
- Travel and represent the company at trade shows.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Work hand in hand with our marketing and production teams.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years' experience in outside sales
- Experience in manufacturing or equivalent industry desired
- Experience with distribution is preferred
- Valid Driver's license
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or CRM preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with distributor partners.
- Ability to travel extensively across the continental USA, including overnight stays.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
