Job Description:
Friendly Ford is seeking a Wholesale Parts Counter Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets within our Parts Department. Candidates with strong communication skills and a talent for creating a welcoming dealership experience will excel in this role. You will identify customer needs, provide detailed product information, answer inquiries, and recommend appropriate solutions. A positive demeanor and proactive approach to resolving customer concerns will ensure success. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to customer satisfaction and enhance store profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers promptly
- Provide accurate and comprehensive product information, including pricing and post-sale services
- Address customer inquiries regarding specific products and services
- Conduct product comparisons to facilitate purchasing decisions
- Recommend additional products to meet customer needs
- Process merchandise returns efficiently
- Collaborate with Retail Sales Representatives to deliver outstanding customer service, particularly during peak periods
- Relay customer feedback to the Parts Manager
- Stay informed about new products and services
- Ensure adherence to inventory stocking protocols
- Perform basic math calculations as needed
- Maintain flexibility to work various shifts as required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Wholesale Parts Counter Specialist, Sales Associate, or similar role
- Familiarity with retail sales processes and consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preference for Ford Certification
