Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute product development strategies in alignment with the company's vision and market trends. Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements.
Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the development of products, including R&D, engineering, design, and marketing. Create and manage project plans, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Design & Development: Oversee the product design and development process, ensuring that products meet specifications, budget, and time constraints. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine product concepts and prototypes.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and ensure that all materials and components meet quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Market Launch: Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans. Ensure successful product introductions and ongoing market support.
Performance Monitoring: Analyze product performance, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments based on data and market response.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in product development or management, with a proven track record of successful product launches. Experience in [specific industry or product type] is highly desirable.
