Position Overview: Apryse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Operations to lead and grow our team. Our developer-first product line and in-organic strategy, leads to a constant need for reinvention and innovation with respect to how we operate our products and businesses. This role plays a strategically critical role in creating data-driven feedback loops, operationalizing the entire product life cycle and driving product knowledge across the organization. This position will do those key jobs on top of a vast and growing portfolio of developer solutions and end-user products. The successful candidate will be naturally cross-functional and detail oriented, as this they will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between product development, customer, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operationalize Product Knowledge:
    • Develop and implement strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate comprehensive product knowledge across departments.
    • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of product features, functionalities, and roadmaps.
    • Partner with Product Marketing and enablement teams to create processes for continuous product education and training for internal teams, including sales, customer support, and marketing.
  2. Facilitate Feedback Loops:
    • Design and manage feedback mechanisms to gather insights from customers, internal teams, competitors, and market trends.
    • Work closely with product managers to prioritize and incorporate feedback into product development cycles and support how they manage and synthesize that information, including tools and processes
    • Learn our business to be able to drive valuable insights from sales, product marketing, and finance to find insights into the data. Don’t just report the news, form an opinion on it
  3. Stakeholder Alignment:
    • Act as a bridge between cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with product strategy and goals.
    • Coordinate with executive leadership to provide regular updates on product performance, feedback analysis, and operational initiatives.
    • Champion a customer-centric culture by advocating for the importance of feedback-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  4. Process Optimization:
    • Identify inefficiencies in product operations workflows and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
    • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Team Management and Scaling:
    • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a team of Product Operations Managers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
    • Define roles, responsibilities, and KPIs for the Product Operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
    • Build an support data-first mentality within the team and culture of continuous improvement.
    • Develop scalable processes and workflows to support the growth and expansion of the Product Operations team as the company scales.

Qualifications:

  • Agile or PMO accreditations (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CPMO, APMO, CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, SAFe Certifications, AgilePM)
  • 5 years of experience in product operations, product management, or related roles within the software companies.
  • Proven track record of successfully operationalizing product knowledge and feedback mechanisms in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Experience administrating Jira across multiple teams
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
