Job Description:

We are partnering with an innovative tech US + UK company that's seeking a talented SaaS Product Owner to be on call for zero-to-one project-based assignments. Your primary role will involve managing product development, prioritizing features, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy: Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, aligning with business objectives and market needs.

  2. Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development teams understand the tasks and their importance.

  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, developers, and marketing teams, to gather requirements and feedback.

  4. Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings, setting clear goals and expectations for development teams.

  5. User Story Creation: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.

  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the final product meets the highest quality standards through continuous testing and validation.

  7. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement.

  8. Performance Monitoring: Track product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance product features and user experience.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a related role within an agile development environment.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on user experience and product usability.

Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker, proactive problem solver, and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities. Ability to work on projects ad-hoc for 1-2 months at a time. With the flexibility to take on additional projects as requested.
