We are seeking a dynamic Receiving Supervisor to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities
  1. Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  2. Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  3. Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure all product is received and invoiced correctly
  4. Responsible for quality control of all hotel goods and products
  5. Ensure all F&B products are delivered to the appropriate departments in a timely manner and communicate discrepancies
  6. Assist with all orders, costing, transfers, and credits of all orders relating to the F&B department
  7. Work closely with departments to maintain accurate and complete inventories to be submitted by the first of every month
  8. Must establish and maintain exceptional relationships with vendors, purveyors and farmers
  9. Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
  10. Maintain open door communication with coworkers
  11. Assist in controlling operating expenses through effective communication with the Purchasing Manager
Core Competencies
  1. College degree or equivalent preferred
  2. Related experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  3. Hospitality related technological proficiency required
  4. Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
  5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language
  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  8. Excellent attention to detail
  9. Ability to multitask
  10. Work well under pressure, requires being a team player
