Technical Sales Representative

Ben Aris is working with a US manufacturer of specialty chemicals to find a Technical Sales Representative (TSR). The TSR will be responsible for developing new and existing accounts within their territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and expand product sales to achieve company growth targets within target markets including mining, oilfield, water treatment, chemicals, and industrial manufacturing.
  • Manage and update the company's customer database to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide insights and content for the company's website to support marketing efforts.
  • Prepare and submit detailed written reports as required.
  • Serve as a chemistry and regulatory advisor to customers.
  • Implement price changes effectively, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Understand, adhere to, and enforce company safety policies, ISO quality systems, and core value principles.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with mandated safety requirements.
  • Conduct customer training on product safety and applications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Requirements:

  • BS, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or similar
  • Technical sales experience within the chemicals industry
  • Willingness to travel >50% and otherwise work remotely with minimal supervision
