The BD Assistant is responsible for providing support services to the Clinical Liaison staff and Director.
The BD Assistant will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day gathering of pertinent referral information and the focus will be to assist in technical areas as it pertains to data entry of patient referrals, record keeping, and tracking of key information, reporting and follow up on critical data needed to seamlessly admit patients.
- Obtaining pertinent records and information, such as guardianship and POA documents.
- Plays a key role as it pertains to sales and marketing with our referral sources, ensuring that our name is always in front of our clients, coordinating webinars, conferences etc.
Key Daily Responsibilities:
- Reviews and enters initial referral information into Wellsky (EMR system)
- Effectively manages referral information to ensure all critical documents are received timely.
- Participates in department meetings.
- Assists in marketing and sales activities, responsible for tracking sales trends.
- Adheres to facility policies and procedures including assisting in maintaining JCAHO standards.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Adaptability and ability to work under stress.
- Team player
- Minimum of 2 years working in a healthcare setting.
- Minimum 5 years customer service. Preferred: 2 years of sales experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license
