Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the timely preparation of monthly financial statement package and year end close.

  • Assist with accounts payable, cash applications, and accounts receivable functions.

  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.

  • Prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Assist with the preparation of the yearly budget.

  • Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits.

  • Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigates issues, providing explanations and interpretation.

  • Assist with managing the integrity of inventory.

  • Manage and prepare accurate sales and use tax reports.

  • Manage and prepare weekly cash forecast and bank reconciliations.

  • Owns the vendor and customer rebate programs.

  • Manages commission payments.

  • Oversees the performance of accounting team members.

  • Responsible for ensuring daily scanning is completed in a timely manner.

  • Provide support for the accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of GAAP.

  • +7 years’ experience in accounting management.

  • Strong knowledge of business and operations.

  • Extensive knowledge of inventory value and inventory reconciliations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
