The Opportunity

The SecureW2 Marketing team is growing, and we’re now looking for our first-ever Content Strategy Lead. This is an opportunity to partner with an incredibly talented team to craft and execute a cohesive set of content and social strategies, enabling our buyers in their journey as well as our internal GTM team to be more effective and consistent. You will be enabled to create a consumable, yet comprehensive value-driven narrative that places buyers at the center, and positions SecureW2 as a “must have” in an organization's security stack.


The scope of this role starts with content development, distribution, and performance analysis across various channels including our blog, social media, forums and website. You will work in close collaboration with our Growth, Product Marketing, and Digital Experience teams to provide strategic enablement across our GTM. Scope expansion will occur as we establish a strong and repeatable content delivery model that yields consistency of outcomes for our buyers and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel content strategy that integrates web, social, ad, outbound, and channel partners.
  • Segment content strategy based on target industries and personas to ensure relevancy and effectiveness.
  • Ensure content is aligned with the buyer’s journey and addresses the needs of various personas and stages of the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing and Digital Experience teams to ensure content is cohesive and supports broader GTM initiatives.
  • Partner with Channel team on the creation of a dedicated channel partner content strategy and plan


Content Creation and Management:

  • Partner with Product Marketing on content planning, creation and curation. Align together on asset needs in alignment with overall strategy and plan.
  • Implement and manage content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with our buyer’s journey and GTM campaigns.
  • Test different content formats to efficacy and effectiveness in terms of engagement and conversion.
  • Be diligent about content repurposing to maximize the value and reach of each piece of content, keeping all core GTM teams in mind (marketing, sales, channel).
  • Partner with internal and external writers, designers, and other content creators to produce compelling and brand-aligned content.


SEO and Content Distribution:

  • Partner with Product Marketing to drive SEO strategy and execution, ensuring content created is informed by search query trends and competitive and market opportunity. 
  • Ensure appropriate content segmentation that enables full funnel stage representation for core audience types and industries.
  • Collaborate with Digital Experience teams on the application of on-page SEO elements in our site CMS.


Social & Forum Strategy:

  • Develop and execute an intentional social media and forum engagement strategy that intentionally creates opportunities for conversation.
  • Place SecureW2 in existing conversations within relevant forums and social media communities.
  • Foster community engagement by responding to comments, participating in discussions, and sharing valuable insights.
  • Partner with Customer Success on customer engagement and advocacy opportunities.
  • Collaborate with influencers and industry leaders to expand reach and credibility.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster a collaborative work environment, investing time and support in team members' growth and development.
  • Manage large content projects with a documented process approach to scoping, planning, and execution.
  • Work closely with Digital Experience, Product Marketing and Sales to align content efforts with account-based marketing strategies and support sales enablement.


Core Areas of Impact

  • GTM Enablement: Create a unified messaging framework that enables consistency of message across all GTM teams.
  • Content Delivery Model: Develop a model for multi-channel content creation and distribution.
  • Qualified Pipeline Generation and Closed-Won Revenue: Focus on generating qualified pipeline and achieving closed-won revenue, particularly from high-propensity accounts.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in content strategy, creation, and optimization in a B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated content strategies that drive prospect engagement and conversion.
  • Strong experience in leading content creation, including writing, editing, and managing content creators.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and experience implementing SEO strategies.
  • Expertise in using analytics tools to measure content performance and inform strategy.
  • Experience with AI technologies for content creation and distribution.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a proactive approach to content strategy and optimization.
  • Experience managing large content projects with a structured process approach.
  • Highly proficient in content management systems, analytics tools, and content optimization technologies.
  • Experience working with agencies, consultancies, and contractors to achieve high-quality and speedy outcomes.
