Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSubsurface Utility Engineering Technician IILocation: Dallas, TXHours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Must be able to work outside these hours)Pay rate: $25-30/hrEngineering firm is looking for a SUE Technician II to join their team. What You Will Do:
  • Use nondestructive methods to locate underground utilities.
  • Utilize electromagnetic locating equipment to designate utilities accurately
  • Maintain, clean, and operate vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies effectively
  • Drive commercial motor vehicles (CDL license not required)
  • Direct safety set-up for proper maintenance of traffic signage
  • Complete monthly equipment inventory for supervisor reorder
  • Handle other duties and projects as assigned
What You Need:
  • Ability to perform physical movements and tractions consistent with operating heavy tools and equipment
  • Good oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical movements necessary to operate heavy tools and equipment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all climates
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, by company vehicle or commercial airline, for up to a 2-week continuous stay
  • Must have a valid and active Driver’s License
  • Subject to drug screening and criminal background investigation
  • High School Diploma or GED
