San Bruno, United States Mill Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Mill is all about answering a simple question: how can we prevent waste? Less waste can save time, money, energy, maybe even our planet. And there's no better place to start than food. Food waste is one of the most solvable climate problems facing us today. Plus, our trash really stinks. It's gross, heavy, and our least favorite chore. At Mill we are striving to build a better environment for all, as we take on climate and kitchen change.

Role Description

Mill is seeking an experienced and versatile Creative Producer who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives on the diversity of working across multiple creative disciplines. You will be at the heart of producing assets for our owned marketing channels—including web/app surfaces, lifecycle marketing, and organic social—as well as for paid channels like Meta, Google, and TikTok.

As an integral part of our creative team, you will bridge the gap between graphic design, copywriting, video editing, motion graphics, UX, and more, ensuring cohesive and impactful creative outputs. Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director, you'll have the independence to steer channel projects from conception to completion, while also playing a supportive role on campaign-level executions and creative program management writ large. Startup experience is preferred. Exceptional candidates will have agency experience. Finally, this company wants to help save the planet — so you should too.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage and orchestrate creative projects from concept through delivery, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and on brief
  • Serve as the primary liaison between diverse creatives and cross-functional business stakeholders, building productive relationships while also championing brand standards
  • Prioritize and coordinate the efforts of creators across various creative disciplines, providing guidance and direction throughout the development process
  • Maintain project documentation and tracking tools, including meeting notes, creative feedback, and ongoing project reporting as requested by senior staff
  • Support senior staff in managing program-wide logistics, including budget tracking, timeline adjustments, and resource allocation
  • Be an active and regular contributor to a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement, with a particular emphasis on team workflows and processes
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of marketing or creative project management experience for an in-house brand or agency, with a strong preference for candidates with demonstrated experience in video post-production
  • Expertise in work and resource management tools such as Figma, Coda, Asana, Trello, Smartsheets, and Google Drive products
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with an ability to motivate teams juggling multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and drive
  • Kindness and empathy
  • Healthy combo of fear and hope in the face of climate change
  • A high tolerance for slack-channel proliferation

The estimated base salary range for this position is $126k to $151k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs. At Mill, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
