This is how you will grow:

As a Lead Software Update Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of software updates into control units prior to installation at the assembly plant. You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring flash stations, providing valuable insights on capacity and efficiency, as well as analyzing errors and quickly introduce countermeasures. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

  • Responsible for generating Flash status reports and templates as needed.
  • Lead Second shift team coordinating needed flashing tasks with available head count resources.
  • Responsible for providing end of shift handover summary.
  • Create flash adapters utilizing wire harness diagrams and network overviews provided by E-Warehouse Team.
  • Assign & setup flash stations as needed for current/new actions.
  • Maintain flashing equipment to ensure volume can be maintained.
  • Support E-Warehouse Team to provide information (logs, pictures, etc..) when topics are being escalated.
  • Participation in small round meetings to discuss current and upcoming flashing activities.
  • Escalate topics in a proper manner when they are not solved in an appropriate time.
  • Self-driven improvement of work environment.
  • Ensure material inventory is correct at the start and end of every shift.
Requirements:

  • English fluent - verbal and written
  • Experience in vehicle electric and electronic (minimum 2 years)
  • Ability to read and understand wire harness diagrams
  • Knowledge in MS office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Business Case Calculation preferred
  • Experience with Python coding language preferred
  • Experience in Project Management preferred
  • Experience with Automotive Manufacturing Process preferred
  • Experience with SAP
