As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a crucial role in attending to the daily needs of the individuals we serve. Your responsibilities will include performing a variety of tasks to teach, encourage, and guide individuals in developing essential daily living skills and habits. Through your dedication and support, you will empower individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and lead fulfilling lives. What matters most

To excel as a Direct Support Professional at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you must possess a valid/clean driver's license (preferred but not required) and demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Your ability to engage effectively with individuals and provide outstanding customer service is essential. Strong time management skills will help you navigate a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment with ease.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Valid/Clean Driver's License preferred/not required.

  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
