We also offer commercial grade Quantum Quartz, Lapitec (Sintered Stone) sealers, cleaners, and Dry Treat to help protect your stone from everyday elements and wear.

We are currently seeking an Outside Design Sales Representative to join one of the fastest growing companies in the stone industry and become a vital part of our Tampa, FL team.

We are looking for someone with 3 - 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities for an Outside Salesperson with Design Sales experience:

  • Develop strategic market plans for key firms, target clients, and high-potential influencers establishing goals and targets.
  • You will actively identify, pursue, and increase sales through brand loyalty of Stone Warehouse, Quantum Quartz, Florim, Lapitec, and of our exclusive partners in Porcelain slabs, by calling on architects, designers, fabricators, developers, and related contractors while coordinating and collaborating with other members of the Stone Warehouse USA Sales Team.
  • Create short- and long-term sales plans to gain access to architectural and design firms, developers, corporate accounts, new property owners, and services providers to gain specifications and sales of work surfaces, flooring, interior cladding, and exterior facades.
  • Achieve defined sales goals, metrics, and objectives.
  • Use a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand, develop, and deliver measurable actions to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Complete productive daily actions that generate sales and qualified leads. Log quality information from the completed activities into our CRM Stone Profits Systems.
  • Build brand awareness through marketing and training and other efforts.
  • Proficient knowledge of our products, applications, and services to ensure product recommendations that meet all specifications.
  • Promote the organization's products in formal presentations to architects, designers, and targeted organizations.
  • Develop new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and professional relationships with architects, designers, building owners, and property management firms involved with new development or renovation work for existing building interiors.
  • Understanding of product assortment and applications needed to support client requirements.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or related field experience.
  • Ability to follow oral or written instructions; read and acknowledge completion or work orders, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strategic interaction with all client types to develop relationships and loyalty.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Must possess highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to influence others relative to company and customers objectives as well as to clarify and maintain focus on team goals and objectives.
  • Experience in Architectural and Design are preferred.
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal direction, as well as within a strong team environment.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MSA Office Suites and/or IOS software applications related to job functions.
  • CRM knowledge
  • Working knowledge of design programs and must be at or near expert level.
  • Proficient in using a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and crafting reports to communicate the actions needed to improve performance relative to the goals of the system and strategy.
