Job Description

We are looking for an Asset Protection specialist that will champion our customer service efforts, while reducing inventory shrinkage. Your engaging personality will be the first and last impression left on our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set an example for others. Adhere to the dress code, stand proud, confident and approachable. No sitting on the job, no fraternizing with customers or employees, no social media. Keep on point. You are representing the Asset Protection team and the company brand.
  • Maintain a consistent front-end presence, ensuring optimal customer service by greeting each customer, promoting our Deal Finder application and calling out "You Pay" signage presented throughout the store. EVERY customer will experience your engaging personality.
  • Your role is "Front-End Focus" - You will not deviate from this expectation unless instructed to do so by the Regional AP Manager ONLY.
  • Assist front-end personnel by helping to keep the front-end clean, organized, free of clutter and visually impressive for our customers. Protect the Brand
  • Tactfully engage customers to validate receipts for accuracy, and to ensure all EAS tags have been removed from their purchase.
  • Conduct employee bag checks( end of shift and breaks).
  • Communicate with management personnel using head-set technology to report suspicious activities and direct customer service needs as necessary.
  • Check-in daily with your respective Regional Asset Protection Manager. Report any concerns or observations that will warrant further research.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, reporting directly to Asset Protection.
  • Will assist management personnel with POS overrides.


Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Show no bias. You must remain impartial and consistent in daily activities.
  • Highly presentable. Dress attire, posture, articulate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to exhibit empathy when dealing with upset customers.
  • Passion for sales, profit, providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

Working Conditions:
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Frequently lift items over 20 pounds
  • Background check required


Salary Description

$14.00 to $15.00 per hour
