Job Summary:

The IT Support Specialist I provides frontline technicalsupport, assisting end-users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.This role involves participating in IT projects, deploying and configuringdevices, and managing helpdesk requests. The ideal candidate will have experiencein operating system support, server environments, and applicationtroubleshooting, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. 

Must have experience working with EMR systems like Epic or NextGen.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve Level 1 technical issues via helpdesk,phone, or remote access.

Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops,mobile devices, and printers.

Assist with user onboarding, including account setup andhardware provisioning.

Provide support for Microsoft Outlook within Office365 andtroubleshoot various software applications.

Ensure workstation security through regular updates andpatch management.

Document support processes and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs andliaise with internal teams for complex issues.

Qualifications:

Required Experience: 2+ years in IT support, includingMicrosoft Windows 10, Active Directory, and server environments. Familiaritywith helpdesk software like SolarWinds ServiceDesk.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of networking, securityprotocols, PC hardware, and EHR systems like Epic or NextGen. Certifications(MCITP, A+, Network+) are advantageous.

soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention todetail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaborativelyin a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

Availability to work beyond normal business hours, includingweekends.

Willingness to travel to alternate business sites as needed.
