Job Description

A Business Systems Engineer's primary responsibility is to update and release all IOS internal documents per the YF and IOS requirements. Also responsible for implementing Global and Regional requirements, supporting achieve Customer satisfaction throughout compliance of Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs). The BSE acts as a certified internal auditor who is responsible for coordinating IOS Audits, LPA Audits, CQIs, CC Audits, Control Plan and PFMEA Audits and others as required per IATF and YFAI requirements.Develops, drives and monitors resulting action plans. They adhere to allIATF 16949, YFAI requirements and regulatory requirements and promote ongoing awareness and changesthroughout the organization. Support and drive Business Systems implementation and Excellence including Quality-Tools.

Main Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and communicate YF OS, IATF,and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs); lead plant-functional teams to ensure compliance.
  • Manages internal and external IATF 16949 and internal IOS audits with internal follow up assessments conducted to ensure sustainable improvement.
  • Directs gap analyses and internal business system assessments for plant.Develops and implements measurable key performance indicatorconvergence plans with plant management
  • Lead all preparation, monitoring, assessment, andreporting activities related to plant Business Systems Management.Ensure successful IATF 16949 third-party and second-party YF IOS assessments
  • Maintain local documents to uphold compliance to Global, Regional Quality System requirements, IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide business systems coaching through assessment andfocused workshops at management, staff and production operator levels. Identify, implement, and champion best practices in quality process improvement
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for all YF iOS internal, IATF16949 and other external party audits, with the objective of identifying gapsand supporting with corrective/preventive actions
  • Develops and leads Operator and Management shop floor workshops.Collaborates with production operators and management.
  • Responsible to deploy YF iOS corporate strategic implementation plans and provide quality training/reviews as needed.
  • Responsible to support training and work in the different plant departmentsand teams, providing coaching on YF iOS, IATF 16949 and other requirements, as applicable.
  • Responsible to support the prevention of any non-conformity issues, and if any non-conformity is detected during an audit, coordinate the resolution process and response on-time using Problem Solving Tools to achieve sustainability of actions.
  • Provide support for ISO 14001 and for internal and external customer requirements and/or assessments.
  • Responsible to coordinate Management Reviews with the Plant Manager, support with data, and follow-up of open issues, as required.
  • Be a role model in the adherence of YF iOS, IATF and Customer Requirements.
  • Perform job functions in accordance with set policies and procedures to ensure preservation of the Company Quality Policy.
  • Support the comprehensive continuous improvement philosophy for all Yanfeng disciplines.
  • Responsible for Monitoring and reporting on progress to quality gap closure plans
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of plant quality deliverables/metrics
  • Responsible for Prioritizing areas of opportunity identified in the quality performance gap analyses
  • Identify and facilitate needed Quality Systems training for plant personnel
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor'sDegree
  • 3-5 of Experience with Quality Systems.
  • 3-5 Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confinedspaces.
    • Must be organized and able to communicate well with others.
    • Must be able to perform each essential duty, satisfactorily.
    • Working knowledge and demonstrated competence of IATF16949.
