Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree accompanied by 3 years of applicable experience.


Security Clearance:

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance shortly after hiring, with the timeline determined by management. Selected applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet the necessary criteria for access to classified information. Due to the nature of our work, U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.


Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Engage in comprehensive electrical requirements analysis and definition.
  • Conduct functional and performance analysis, including timing and power assessments.
  • Design, integrate, and verify electrical components, equipment, and systems.
  • Lead root cause analysis in electrical engineering and present findings to both internal management and clients.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and methodologies.

  • Solid skills in circuit board and card design.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is between USD $117,000.00 and USD $130,000.00 annually, based on experience and other factors.
