Office Manager/Bookkeeper

This person will perform complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting statements and accounting assignments and prepare accounting statements and financial reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises clerical personnel.
-Training of clerical personnel.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Prepares financial reports and various accounting statements.
-Posts journal entries to the general ledger.
-Generates summary sheets to be used by supervisor or auditor.
-Process payroll and prepare necessary payroll reports.
- Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to department.
- Process customer payments.
-Accounts receivables.
-Accounts Payable.
-Process customer orders as back up for receptionist.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
-Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures, with the ability to train others in related practices and procedures.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
-Proficient in QuickBooks or similar software.
-Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
Education and Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Three to five years of related work experience required.
