Accounting Specialist I - Banking

This Accounting Specialist I - Banking position will primarily be responsible for stop payment. In this position you have the ability to read, understand and logically apply ACE policies and procedures with training and supervision.  Experience in Oracle preferred.  

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll primary be working a high volume of stop payments, initiated from multiple financial institutions and bank accounts.
  • You’ll provide internal customers with payment status information.
  • You’ll assist banking team with manual payment recording and cancel-reissue payments.
  • You will communicate via e-mail and phone with internal and external customers.
  • You will do some filing; other office duties; and special assignments as directed.
  • This is primarily an office position, with approximately 95% of the time spent using a computer.

What You’ll Need

  • To thrive in this role, you must enjoy providing exceptional customer service.
  • Prior or general knowledge of banking practices.
  • You’ll need to have a minimum 45 or more words per minute.
  • You must be proficient in 10-key by touch.
  • You need to have intermediate knowledge on all Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You need to have a strong attention to detail and keep things organized.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$18.20 - $24.27
