Carolinas Fertility Institute is seeking a Patient Service Representative for its well-appointed Winston Salem clinic. This is a very busy clinic and requires someone with passion for customer/patient care.
The Patient Service Representative will:
Check In Patients:
Greet Patients in Courteous Manner
Update Demographics - Hand patient the face sheet to look over
Take Patient Pictures and attach it to the patient's chart in EHR
Copy Insurance Card / Scan into EHR
Enter/Update Insurance Information into EHR
Have Patient Sign HIPAA, Financial Consents, ABN's
Take Patient Payments
Answer Incoming Calls
Make Fee Tickets:
Print Labels
Make Appt. Notes on Labels
Make Face Sheets:
Highlight Patient Name, Address, Phone Number, Email and Insurance Information
Note If Picture Is Needed In EHR
Note Any Balance Or Money Due
Call Patients to Confirm Appointment:
Confirm Date, Time and Location
Covid Screen - Inform Patient Of Visitor Restrictions
Notify Patient Of Any Balance Due At Time of Appt
Check out Patients:
Make follow up appointments.
Record Releases - Print and Fax to Referring Dr.'s and Scan Consent into EHR
Keep Waiting area Organized and Clean
Work Remotely
