Summary:

VetnCare is seeking a full time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at Irvington pet hospital in Fremont, CA Our Client Service Representatives are the first smile our patients see and ensure every pet parent feels welcomed, informed, and well cared for. You will work closely with our hospital staff and provide a great experience for our patients while gaining continuing opportunities to learn new skills. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to get your foot in the door in veterinary medicine and work with a team that values you. Our Client Service Representative's wages begin at $20/hr.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Acting as client-patient advocate to ensure pet parent has received all pertinent information to the pet's healthcare.
Checking in and greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
Managing appointment schedules and confirming appointments using practice management system.
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
Acting as client-patient advocate to ensure pet parent has received all pertinent information to the pet's healthcare.
Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times

Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in customer support, client services, vet med or a related field
Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems
Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents or updating customer profiles/accounts
Able to concentrate on multiple problems at once
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Customer-focused for positive customer experience and resolution
Comfortable with animals

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
