Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Staff Accountant support.
  • Maintaining state tax compliance (Nexus).
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Managing subledgers and Balance Sheet account schedules.
  • Tracking project expenses for cost allocation.
  • Collaborating with departments to ensure smooth financial data flow.
  • Ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Supporting the Controller with external audits.
  • Taking on special projects.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in construction accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Cloude-Suite Industrial preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with construction contract management (a plus).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana).
