We are seeking a talented Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Inventory Coordinator for our Belle Chasse manufacturing facility in Louisiana.
Position Summary: As a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Inventory Coordinator, you will be integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments. Your responsibilities will include confirming and recording receipts, preparing client orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining precise inventory control. This role requires a keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill, package, and complete customer orders for shipment.
Reconcile and correct errors related to shipping and receiving activities.
Assign and complete customer orders with precision.
Count, verify, and receive products with a high level of detail and accuracy.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper organization of inventory on shelves and in designated locations.
Load and unload inbound and outbound products/materials from delivery trucks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment daily.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse and inventory environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with associates and customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Accurate keyboarding skills.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, light trucks, and overhead cranes.
Responsible for maintaining proper inventory counts and making electronic inventory adjustments.
Adhere to inventory control procedures.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to and occasionally exceeding 8 hours), with regular bending and lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
