As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will maintain financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded, ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts, and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to general ledger. You will also examine current processes for automation and/or productivity improvement as well as other related special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and documents business transactions
  • Compile and analyze the monthly consolidated financial statements
  • Assist with the monthly financial close process
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliation with relevant line-item detail and supporting documentation
  • Manage Capital Expenditure process, additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
  • Assist with Capital Expenditures annual budgets and monthly review
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve financial problems, perform audits, and analyze profit loss
  • Using the highest standards and practices to ensure financial compliance
  • General accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Computer skills including high proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
