Within our Tracy, CA union manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Human Resources Generalist to help grow, mentor, and support the 300+ employees at our Tracy, CA production facility.

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $80,000 and $94,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and provide advice, assistance, counseling, and follow-up on Company policies and procedures.
  • Take the helm of employee engagement teams and spearhead exciting activities that ignite passion and foster a strong sense of camaraderie.
  • Help establish and nurture a rock-solid employer-employee relationship that fuels high morale, motivation, and team spirit throughout our buzzing facility.
  • Assist with coordinating compliance and regulatory training for all employees.
  • Coordinate and conduct benefit orientation and other benefits training, including the annual benefits open enrollment process for non-bargaining unit employees.
  • Facilitate, monitor, and maintain plant leave of absence processes.
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts with business partners to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained within the plant, including development of employment advertisements and/or working with third-party staffing agencies as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the orientation and on-boarding process for new employees.
  • Oversee and maintain HRIS and be a site subject matter expert on processes related to SAP, Kronos Timekeeping, Success Factors recruiting system, and other human resources technology.
  • Cross-train with the HR & Labor Relations Generalist and assist as needed.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a similar area.
  • Already gained 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the captivating world of Human Resources.
  • You're familiar with the fundamentals and best practices of HR, and you know how to bring them to life in the workplace.
  • You have a general knowledge of state and federal employment laws and practices, ensuring we always stay in the compliance spotlight.
  • Your interpersonal and coaching skills are eminent, and your ability to inspire and empower others knows no bounds.
  • Negotiating and problem resolution are your secret weapons, and you're always ready to leap into action when challenges arise.
  • You embrace the excitement of a 24-hour, 7-day food manufacturing facility and are willing to support our amazing team at all times.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • HR professional certifications (SHRM/HRCI) such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP certifications.
  • Human Resources professional experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Experience working in the unique dynamics of a union environment.
